Meaning, if you’re in a band then using Myspace to promote your band will be more successful than marketing anything else. The reason being is Myspace has implemented more user control over their pages. Allowing people to add music unlike on any other social network.
Once people visit their friends pages they hear a song they like then they’ll go and buy it hopefully. That’s what has made Myspace appealing to artists to promote their music. In order to implement this type of marketing I would recommend creating a Myspace profile just for your band. On your profile page tell the people what you’re about and feature your music. Also, you’ll probably want to change the theme to match what your music is about.
After your page is set up you can download a bot that will automatically add friends to your profile. Usually a program like that will cost money but it’s worth not having to manually add friends. Once you’ve added a bunch of friends if you’re music is any good then you’ll definitely go viral!
